Demanding Accountability with Data Centers & Reducing Property Taxes
Charrie supports banning all tax breaks and future development of Data Centers until studies have been completed that notify the public of any and all hazards that stem from them. She feels that the locals should decide whether or not they want an AI Center in their area, not politicians. She also supports a reduction in property taxes for seniors 65 and over, and the disabled.
Lowering Costs & Improving Affordability
Families across Eastern Ohio are feeling the pressure of rising costs everywhere - from groceries and utilities to housing and everyday essentials. Charrie believes working people, students, seniors, and the handicapped deserve relief from unfair financial burdens and hidden costs that make it harder to get ahead. She is committed to supporting practical solutions that help Ohioans keep more of what they earn and make life more affordable for those who call our communities home.
Keeping Jobs, Talent, and Opportunity in Eastern Ohio
Too many young people feel like they have to leave Eastern Ohio to find opportunity. Charrie wants to change that by supporting workforce development, expanding local job opportunities, and investing in industries that create long-term stability for our region. Eastern Ohio has hardworking people and strong communities—we need leadership focused on creating opportunities that allow families to build their futures right here at home.
Fixing Infrastructure & Basic Services
Reliable infrastructure is not a luxury—it is a necessity. From safe drinking water and maintained roads to reliable public services and safer streets, Eastern Ohio deserves investments that improve everyday life for families, workers, and older adults alike. Charrie understands that neglected infrastructure costs communities more in the long run, and she believes our region deserves the same attention, accessibility, and resources as the rest of the state.
Fairness, Accountability & Real Representation
People in Eastern Ohio deserve leaders who listen, show up, and put communities ahead of politics. After returning home to care for her father during his battle with Parkinson’s, Charrie saw firsthand the challenges many families and older adults face when trying to access support, maintain independence, and navigate rising costs. With decades of experience standing up for others through negotiation, representation, and public service, she is committed to bringing honest leadership, accountability, and a stronger voice to the 96th District.
Strengthening Public Schools & Supporting Teachers
Strong public schools are essential to strong communities. Charrie believes students, teachers, and families deserve stable funding, quality classroom resources, and opportunities that prepare young people for success. Supporting education means investing not only in students, but also in the future of Eastern Ohio’s communities, workforce, and economy. Strong public schools should provide students with opportunities to succeed both inside and outside the classroom—including academics, career preparation, music, arts, and extracurricular activities that strengthen confidence, creativity, and community.
Expanding Broadband & Modern Connectivity
Reliable internet access should not depend on where you live. Too many families, students, workers, and seniors in Eastern Ohio still struggle with limited or expensive connectivity. Charrie supports expanding affordable broadband access so residents can fully participate in modern life—from education and remote work to healthcare access, telehealth services, and staying connected to loved ones.
